Great sequel!
I played the first part, I liked it, but quickly got bored, the same part looks more alive. Well, I'll go in order:
1) The plot. The story is not the main thing in this game. It is simple, but overall interesting, I can do without spoilers.
2) Gameplay. Usual shooter gameplay with an emphasis on close combat and a lot of parkour. Everything is super here, the parkour is the best in games at the moment, and it is very pleasant to demolish the skulls of enemies with improvised means. Everything in the game is moderate, there are places with dialogues and a calm atmosphere and wild action.
3) Graphics. The graphics in the game are impressive, especially the lighting, and with the settings turned on to the maximum and RTX technology, it is a pleasure to enjoy the picture on the monitor! The graphic part is amazing and is one of the fat pluses of the game.
4) Sound. The sounds in the game are excellent, here and there in the city someone is screaming, apparently being torn apart by a flock of zombies, the ambient is done normally. The music is rare, but very pleasant.
I have listed the main, and now I would like to dwell separately on one important thing - optimization! Moreover, it is difficult to say whether it is good or bad, as there are pluses and minuses. Let's start with a plus: DL2 is quite playable at maximum settings on an old processor from AMD that is already 10-11 years old and 8GB of RAM. For me it was a surprise. Well, now the minus: after 1-2 hours, a sharp drop in FPS by 2 times and frequent friezes begin, restarting the game solves the problem, and as I read this problem occurs in many, even on powerful hardware.
Outcome. The game turned out to be solid, it is clear that the developers tried to release a quality product and they succeeded. The only thing I would like is better optimization, but the game has recently been released, I think updates will be released to correct the situation with the FPS drop after a few hours. I would rate the game: 8.7/10
