omg this game blows.

Remains the worst game I've bought on Steam.

Absolutely recommend picking this game up.

The dialogue and story is ultra cheesy, in a so-bad-it's-good-kinda-way but some of the mechanics are far deeper than what I expected, especially compared to Payday 3.

The rogue-lite is also fun, and as a singleplayer I have gotten far more than what I paid for it.

Fun, silly, and at times a bit frustrating, but totally worth picking up!

I've heard it's amazing, but it keeps hard crashing on my rig which still handles newer titles which are far more demanding to run.

I've reinstalled it, updated drivers, and the fixes required.

After 4 restarts I cannot be bothered to try again.

Absolute garbage.

It seems fun in the beginning, upgrading your sh!tbox until it can actually consistently win, but the AI such a load of w@nk.

The opponent AI will happily ram you off the road. and when you're on Heat lvl 5, the cops are so f*cking ridiculously irritating that I couldn't be bothered wasting any more of my time on this pure, unadulterated garbage. It also happens after almost every single race. Not worth the effort. I ended up skipping out on optional quests because I couldn't be f*cked.

Top Gear Top Tip: Avoid

Hands down one of the best games I've ever purchased. Gifted it to a few mates pretty soon after buying it in December.

You don't start off with much, and you need to put in the work to get your maple syrup business up and running, farming potatoes and selling bags of chips, and growing a sh*t ton of the devil's lettuce. After spending the time and money to upgrade these income streams, while doing all sorts of stuff (watering crops, delivering pizzas, winning street races and all sorts of other things), you finally are ready to build your car up. Not a piece here or there, or a small upgrade, I mean a full build:

Swaybars, coilovers. bumpers, hoods, calipers, spacers, ECUs, differentials, exhausts, wheels, seats, steering wheels, underglow, engines and a ton more. The amount of love put into these options really shines through.

After grafting to get all the items you need, buying them all, taking the time to build it (down to colour-matching bolts), and finally having a build to be proud of has to be one of the most rewarding things I have ever done in a video game, and I've been playing games for 25 years.

There are also lots of small details in the game. Anxious? Smoke a spliff, pet a dog, play video games, or drive really fast. Hungry? Reap the potatoes you were growing out back, and cook them in the chip fryer, or drive to the take-away place to stock up on poutine, and maybe run some deliveries while you are there so you have some gas money. Maybe pick up maple syrup at the gas station, or make your own at home. See a phone number? Phone it when you get home and figure out what it's for.

I could wax lyrical about this game for ages, but if you're looking for something to sink hours into, and escape into a whole other world, and love cars, this is what you're looking for. Recommended x100000000 over.

P.S. It looks miles better on an HDR screen, but those goes for most games.

Absolute drivel.

The fact that MW3 was pushed as a separate release, when it is quite clearly DLC for MW2 shows how greedy these corporations are. The less said about the singleplayer, the better. Play DMZ for free, and that's basically the whole 2.5 hours you'd expect from the campaign.

Half of the MP maps are just reskins which have been out since 2009, and somehow the crayon-eating fans of this franchise lap it up. Warzone is as garbage as it's ever been, but don't worry!!! There are new items in the store for you to buy today!

P2W Warzone, disgustingly lazy SP, and an MP mode which is so bare-bones, that it's already dead for the most part.

Stop giving these idiots money every time they release the same, unfinished, broken garbage they put out every year for $70.

HOLY ♥♥♥♥ this game is ♥♥♥♥. The scripting is unlike I have ever seen in a FIFA game

I originally enjoyed this during the first week. I had no issues, and it ran like butter at 4K. The new animations add a lot of life to the game. The new nets are fantastic as well.

The longer I play it the worse it gets though. The referee decisions are shocking. Two footed challenges from behind when you're already clear on goal is usually a yellow card if any is given at all. But ♥♥♥♥ you if you foul someone when it's 1v3. Red card for you, because ♥♥♥♥ you.

World class remains more difficult than Legendary. The same old scripting is still seen. Put in 9 tackles where the ball pops off to the opposition every time, and they'll score. You can feel it's coming and there is absolutely ♥♥♥♥ all you can do about it.

There is so much I think they got right with this game, but it's just not fun to play.

Only buy it on sale... Don't give Randy Pitchford more money if you don't have to.

It's a tough one... As someone who finished BL2 7 times, there are definite improvements... The shooting feels better, and the variety of guns and number of legendary drops is a welcome change.

There are some nice QOL changes as well which help it along. The new locations are pretty nice, but definitely have a BL feel to them which can make them a bit tired especially when grinding quests so early on.

Gameplay-wise, I recommend it.

However the story is f***ing terrible. I've never cared so little about dialogue in a game. Characters take forever to get through their unfunny, cringey, sh*tty dialogue before you can progress with missions, which is made worse by having to speak to Lilith after every quest...

But absolutely nothing can beat Ava. Hands down, one of the worst written characters I've seen in a video game, and possibly the worst BL character to date. I've looked to see if there are mods to kill her, something I haven't done since I encountered Timmy in Fallout 4. F*** you Ava.

Imagine the humour from BL2 and turn up that constant need to insert dated humour up to 11.

If you're a gamer who enjoys a bit of the devil's lettuce or a few beers while playing games, then you'll enjoy the gameplay... If you're looking for a good story stay far, far, far away.

Trying to play this with a PS5 controller is a f***ing chore. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. Pure Garbo
