Best chill game + greatest reviver of a chat-room game genre in existence.

I'll be honest - I was expecting absoultely another from this game. I saw & readed a lot from many people before who was blessing Undertale, some of 'em are even my friends. But at the end this didn't defined that I would like it too.
I'm separating quotes "This game is awful" and "I don't like this game", cuz they mean different. In my case, I would actually say that I don't like Undertale, but I'm not saying that the game is awful - 'cause it's not. The game is very good with many aspects of it but it's just not my thing, not my type of game . I love the music here the most, but not gameplay & story.

First - Undertale is very counterintuitive (for me). There was many times through only 3 hours of playing when I was just wandering through locations with question in my head "What the hell should I do next?". The common silliness & vibe of game's world is just... doesn't making me love this game tbh; yeah, with all this jokes it's funny kinda and unique, but I'm not in love in game bc of it. (You may call me stupid, but I know that already and fully admittin' it);
Second - softly speaking, I'm not the fan of games with 8-bit graphics. Speaking not softly, those games are clearly repels me. Usually the graphical part of games doesn't really bothering me that often, but here it's makes me feel... uncomfy? Not my thing;
Third - Gameplay here is pretty... boring? All what I'm doin' here most of the time - moving the heart symbol in fights. Maybe its just me who needs as much dynamics in gameplay as possible, but its just my experience;

I cannot spend any much more time in this game, I just feel all the time of playing like I want to close it and return to more dophamine-giving stuff. It's just my case, I'm dead serious. And even tho I didn't like it, I'm not feeling bad about money I've spent on it - bought the game on sale with huge discount and just because I wanted, so it's not the worst thing here.

Althought the review says that I'm "not recommending" this game, it's not actually the true - I can recommend it, but ONLY to people who love that kind of games, with all their aspects & common vibe. It's just not for everyone and not for me personally, but I must say that you, at least, should try to play Undertale - perhaps, this one will become your new favorite game of all times.
Which is not the case for me, sadly.

I'm ready to be hated for the fact that I don't like Undertale, but I kinda don't care.

I've topped my Steam Wallet for the first time from February 2022 just to buy this game - and that's was worth it for sure.

I know about which things other users are usually telling about this game and various stuff they dislike - poor optimization, broken AI and more; so I'm not gonna write about it all here, 'cause I'm here not for this. Just gonna tell from my own experience - optimization is not that poor at all (at least on my PC + that laggy moments are pretty rare as for heavy game on UE), and I cannot really say that AI here is completely broken (I mean, just because bots are not that easy in fight for you as they are in other FPS games, this doesn't mean that game is bad. Ready or Not is really hard one game and you must be ready for that).

For me, that one guy whose little obsession always was SWAT-related stuff, discovering about this game was a treasure moment. Richest weapons varity, realistic story-telling, grim lore, pretty advanced gameplay mechanics, and even simply beautiful Unreal Engine's graphics - that's all just mixing so good together. I love it.

Simple and very stylish game which gameplay relies mostly on randomness and your luck. Rich variations of original usable items, awesome sound design and even hidden lore parts are combining perfectly in this cheap game. I definitely recommend this game, it's worth the price!

This is probably one of the nicest multiplayer game you can even find on Steam. Even tho it's considered to be a horror, the amount of hilarious & funny moments with your friends here is definitely gonna be really high after some time of playing (well, depends on what kind of friends you're playing with and etc). The grind system that depicted here is not ruining the whole gameplay at all - it motivates you to learn more & more about all types of ghosts & how to survive in encounters with 'em with every game, to receive higher level and better equipment. The intrigue about how it feels to use & hold in hands, for example, a Lvl 3 Videocamera or NVG, is not gonna leave your mind until you'll get it with new level earned. And that's feels nice ngl.
The amount of ghosts types here is incredibly rich, where you need to choose the unique way of gameplay and tactics (?) for each type. Where the one ghost can kill you only if you're alone, or where the another one can find you anywhere, no matter where you're hiding - the game just persists you to adapt to each and every ghosts in every new game. That's what kills any boredom in Phasmophobia. Also, with time passing you'll just start feeling yourself "too skilled" on the difficultty mode on which you're playing for too long, whats insist you to progress.
I'm not even writing about the amount of usable items & mechanics that featured in game - it's huge . For that many items there is function to upgrade 'em up to Lvl 3, which expands their usability REALLY good. Just spend enough of your free time in the game and you'll realise how much is there potential to use every item & in-game mechanic in its own way.
Not really big choice of maps (but as for Unity game is enough ) compensates very well with their detalization & wealthy environmental design. Every map has its own lore & vibe, no matter if its suburban house for usual civilians or abandoned mental institution with grim secrets hidden inside of it. The atmosphere of the game's locations is always different, which works perfectly for your experience as a player.
From my experience, the game may become MUCH funnier with soundboard app (like Soundpad), feels like it was created for that funny shenanigans w/ friends.
I would describe MUCH more about Phasmophobia here, but what's above would be enough to say that I'm HIGHLY [/b] recommend this game. Preferably to play with friends (even 1-2 will be enough), but even in singleplayer you'll get your dose of enjoyment about it as well.
