Rocket League itself is a great game and is worth the time you put in it. The problem is it's developer Psyonix.
They keep making decisions that literally all of their customers hate and don't support.
One of the biggest ones was removing the DLCs from Steam Store and selling them individually and extremely overpriced in their new in-game Item Shop and by their new system called Blueprints.
Now they're making the game Free-to-Play this summer, while this can have it's problems, it's not that bad, the biggest issue is what they're going to do when it's Free-to-Play.
Psyonix is removing the game from Steam and is moving it to the biggest enemy of PC players, Epic Games.
According to their blog post, this isn't going to affect people who already have the game on Steam, We'll get a new status called the Legacy Status and will have all the Rocket League branded DLCs, this means all items expect for licensed items like The Batmobiles, or the McLarens etc... BUT, new players can't get the game from Steam anymore and must play it through Epic Games Launcher.
This game grew because of Steam and people who bought it here. To see Psyonix repay us and Steam this way is a huge kick in the nuts. not cool at all.
