For the past five years, communication from Valve has been completely lackluster as casual has become overridden with bots and cheaters, competitive mode has died and community servers have held the game on life support. Queuing for matches is now a dice roll between getting a good or sh*tty experience, with the majority of it being the latter. Under no circumstance can I recommend this game to anyone new anymore; Valve wants nothing more but to milk every last drop out of it and doesn't care one single iota about its playerbase.
