This review of yours is dated.
The Developers are Ukrainian/German/etc now. For years.
They listen to critiques, they work on things, and make improvements.

Its not a lie and I will not change it. When the review was written it reflected my opinion about that current reality. That reality changed, but Gaijin is well known to keep changing things in War Thunder trying to create a "balance" that is never achieved, as those changes always turn out to make some things too strong and some other things too weak due to how the game's battlerating and matchmaking system works. Who knows? Next update they may change things all over again and revalidate my ground forces review. And my opinion on their user/customer relationship management is still the same.

You should change your review so people who don't play the game and want to see what the people think about the it before trying it themselves don't see any lie.

You realise my review is 3 years old, dont you? I recognize many things got way better since then (including german ground forces). Anyway, I never followed my own advice and kept playing. Im now near 5000 hours of playtime, and still think the game is great, but could be better, and their user base / customer relationship is still so bad they still dont deserve a positive review.

This is a lie: The new ground combat mode is absolutely unplayable with german tanks, as russian tanks are way beyond you can call overpowered and undertiered.

My review is now a year old, and I feel exactly the same: As I said, sometimes you love it, sometimes you hate it. Still could be a great game, but the developers are still the most obnoxious and biased people in the world, and the game gets worse as each new version gets out. Their CEO is the king of obnoxiousness and arrogancy. For him, everything wrong is customers' fault (as he declared in an interview), so my advice is still the same: Play it only for free, and until your frustration level rise over the fun factor. Im slowly drifting to other games like Rise of Flight and IL-2.
