I've been emulating for the better part of two decades. I'd always used a slew of individual emulators because that's what I was used to. I can't believe it took me this long!

RetroArch definitely has a bit of a learning curve, and I believe they know that and are attempting to put simplicity and usability at the forefront. But with how much it is capable of, it's easy to understand why. But for the few hours I put in researching, looking up answers, and tweaking, I'm left with the absolute, perfect emulations experience! And it's ready to port over to any other computer or device that I get that is capable of RetroArch, which is practically anything with a computer in it.

The Steam version DOES lack the online updater, so it takes a smidge more work to import cores/info files and get your own thumbnails, so that's something to keep in mind.
