Do I recommend this game?
By itself? Not really.
It's not really bad, just me. the game has a lot of problems, some in general, like the amount of bugs or comparatively weak storyline, some coming down to personal taste, like textures that seem of or the prefabricated main character, providing the inability to create a "true" own character, the backstory, that I already had a spouse and child gnagging at the back of my mind.

Why is this review still a recommendation?
I know it, if you played this game already and are only reading this review because you are bored, you know it too.
It's the modding community.
With the assistance of mods this game transforms from a "meh" game to an awesome game.
Don't have weapon you like? Boom, Weapon mods.
Missing something from an old game? Boom, NCR Armor.
Unlorefriendly and boring lore? Boom, Quest mods.
Anything that boggled you about the base game? Boom, probably a mod for that.
The Modding community is awesome, even rivaling that of Skyrim, providing anything that your radiated heart could ever desire.
