When I first opened this game, I thought that I was ready for any role. I hop into a game as the Americans pushing up the beaches of Iwo Jima. A flamethrower is open, so I chose it, thinking that it'd be more fun than a rifleman. I rush up the first part, free of enemies, with my comrades rallying together on all sides of me. We get over the hill and a wall of bullets flies our way, whizzing past me as I serpentine to a nearby crater. I crouch for cover and check my surroundings to see that only 5 of the 20 people that was around me had made it with me to this crater. Three are patching themselves while another stumbles around and bleeds out slowly from a gutshot. The fourth clears the barbed wire in front of our crater with a satchel charge. The ♥♥♥♥ are focused on other soldiers as we try to run up to their trench. The engineer was in front of me and body-blocked a rifle shot for me. Another friend takes out the guy who shot him while I wiped my friend's blood off of me. We all dive to the ground as a mounted MG starts firing on us and we spend the next two minutes crawling up to the trench. Once there, I sprayed the entire trench without looking and hopped over once the bullets stopped. First, I felt satisfied...until I saw their charred bodies still twisting and turning from my flames. I stood in shock in the trench as I realized just how much suffering I caused, as evident from their blood-curdling screams. My SL screams out "Sniper! Get Down!" just as I fall to the ground after seeing the sniper's scope glint. I fell down staring into the eyes of a charred ♥♥♥ with embers still going on his peeling skin. I left the game and went to sleep. That night, I had nightmares of the event previously described. I woke up sweating and still haven't picked up that class since that night.

10/10 would get PTSD for a night again
