Early Access Review
Let me tell you that without a doubt, this is one of my favorite games and always will be. There are so many aspects regarding my favoritism of this game, so I will do my best to outline them in an easy-to-read list for you.

Graphics: Outstanding - In a post-apocalyptic setting, the colors aren't vibrant like California but more of a lay-to-waste Louisiana, sporting dull greens and dark browns and blacks. However, that doesn't take away from the color of this game at all. It looks fantastic, and adds to the atmosphere and gameplay, with a couple different options such as foggy days, normal days, and nights, with more to come.

Gameplay: Outstanding - You're trying to collect a bounty or two but all the while other hunters are trying to collect them. You have to get through zombies in order to get clues to find the bounty and you either deal with the (annoying as ♥♥♥♥) spider or the (not as annoying but somewhat annoying) butcher. After you kill it, you banish it revealing where you are to everyone on the map. Get ready for PVP! When you have the bounty you have ten seconds of wallhacks you can use to hopefully get you outta there or tell you where the enemy is to fight them to the death and whoever extracts with the bounty "wins" gold and experience, although you still get that without the bounty.

Audio: Outstanding - The gun sounds are crisp and very distinguishable. They sound clear and offer a wonderful 19th century pop when using them. Also, not only are the guns amazing, but the audio cues in this game to find other people are so effing great. Hearing pots or chains or horses whinnying or maybe even seeing and hearing crows behind you or in front of you definitely make you feel like the hunter or hunted.

Replayability: Top of the line. No two matches are the same. Same map but so many different ways to go about the map. Been playing this game nonstop since the recent free week and not only did I buy it once, but I bought it for my friend too. That's how much we love it. One thing I would recommend is to always try to find a person to play with. Hunt Showdown has their own dedicated discord server you can find easily in order to work together with teammates over voice comms (You do that in game and you risk people hearing you). Hopefully this helps you if you're on the fence on whether to buy it or not. The only con I can think of is follows.

Optimization: This is the only thing that may divert people from the game. You have to have a pretty darn good graphics card and processor to run it. Keep in mind the game is in early access and they are working hard on optimization to help those with older machines, but this problem will soon be fixed with more optimization and changes.
