tldr: where maps?? where operation? + amogus imposter is sus, "everyone got hax, i cry"(delicious tears) + actually hax, sometimes it be like that lmfao.

---------------------------------------------
anger, sorrow and so much regret:

i miss the classic maps and i miss the niche maps that not everyone liked/wanted to play even more. (such as basalt, insertion2, canals, aztec, og dust, militia and, on god, the GOAT: agency)
(as opposed to mirage & dust2)
+ still no operation? sadness.

the homies and i used to grind cs fr like degenerate crack heads back in the day. never ever got
as sick of the game and it's map pool as we are now. virtually nobody really wants to play the game anymore.

furthermore, cheating in this game has historically been ridiculously bad.even though the cheating itself has died down recently (my perception + mind time of review) there is zero trust between players/opponents and people cannot ever just be chill.
one sign of this is bad players/losers jumping to the conclusion that the opponent must be cheating if they hit their shots, counter strafe properly, clear angles/corners/spots, aren't deaf to foot steps or are in any other capacity more competent.

every other game someone just has to crash out because they can't cope, usually whining with a salty comment under your profile
-> used to be a token of total domination and a kind of honor (le cringe, ik but wtv)
It's just a very common annoyance now. In the worst case they'd deadass start spinbotting while telling you (and presumably themselves) that it's justified.

p.s: everything said applies to the premier, competitive and wingman game modes. it doesn't even matter what rank/rating you've got (you're probably being shafted by the questionable, semi-functional rank/rating system anyway)

I don't even know why I still play it ATP; maybe it's stockholm syndrome or some shi; sunk-cost fallacy due to the thousands of hours I spent on it? Gotta talk to my therapist about Counter-Strike and my relationship to it.
