A wonderful remake of a wonderful game

I don't have anything new to say about this legendary game from Team Silent, which is now 23 years old. The Japanese know how to make an unforgettable work of art that will be relevant for many years to come, and this game showed it perfectly, as it got a good remake.

As someone who at one time didn't have a PS1, PS2 and only got a PC for the first time in 2007, it's a pleasure to play a reimagining of those old popular games that I missed on my gamer journey.

SILENT HILL 2 is a very heavy emotional story, I would rather call it a psychological thriller than a horror. The game is frightening not by monsters, but by human actions, and this city attracts the heroes for a reason. Each of them has his own trauma, which Silent Hill will tell in the most horrible details.

I think Bloober Team did well and of course many are now waiting for the 1st and 3rd parts of this great franchise. I want more fog and abstract monsters (as Pyramid Head) with this great musical accompaniment! I feel like I have gone through another Resident Evil game and I'm even enjoying it.

Ubisoft hasn't realized yet that their games are not needed anywhere besides Steam? How many more failed launch sales do you need to realize that you need to release your games here immediately, not a year later.

Visually the game is awesome, as always. It's very pleasant to wander through the ancient streets of Baghdad, each street as if lives its own life, and it's amazingly beautiful. The atmosphere of the Middle East is appealing.

It's good, but I'd like more classic trucks in the game

"I HOPE THE DUDES BELOW AREN'T LOOKING AT MY PINK BUTT!"

I haven't played the PS3 version and my introduction to the game only happened now. So I don't know the smallest differences between the 2012 version and the remake. I know from discussions that the original music has been changed, most likely due to license expiry, as is often the case with games. I agree that the old music was much better and soulful, but it's not a big problem because there is already a mod that brings it back. Look for it in the guides - "Music Restoration Mod". I also installed a mod that brings back the original picture in the main menu, because I think it's more aesthetically pleasing than in RePOP.

I recommend playing specifically with the restored music. Just check out these masterpieces: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLAFE5C9C564253BB5

"Mmm, I love the smell of almost dead cheerleader in the morning!"

Let's get to the game itself. This is a very funny, colorful and dynamic "Hack and Slash" that will not let you get bored. Yes, it's not long, it takes exactly 8 hours to complete, butt each level is more interesting than the previous one.
The most interesting here is the dialogues, i guess. It is the expressions and jokes of the characters that make the game so much fun. There is a lot of black and vulgar humour and it just makes the mood lift.

Sometimes it's very silly, and I'm glad of that. Because they don't make games like that nowadays. I think you know what I mean, reader. But this is a remake of a 2012 game, so there's nothing wrong with the characters and their sense of humour. I remember a few jokes about Japanese, Katy Perry, Stephen Hawking, iPod, Facebook, Chip and Dale, and many others. Modern characters don't joke in that style and don't look as beautiful as the main character. That's really what we've lost. Or we've changed ourselves. This game caught my heart because it's about as good as being under the skirt of an American cheerleader. I'm serious.
A nice addition is that Juliet has many different outfits, so getting through each level becomes even more varied.

"DON'T BE RACIST AGAINST COWS, NICK!"

I have beat the game with DualSense and it was a great time, especially with the OST of the original Lollipop Chainsaw.
I felt this high school vibe, and also in an American setting. It reminded me of my last high school years, those adventures and that time in general - the 2010s, which I find more interesting than the 2020s. The world was really different before 2020 and I was once again convinced of that by playing a game from that era.

Worthy game
, as are all of Sony's exclusives though. I like it better than the first part of GoW. It's a pleasure to go through this powerful and brutally beautiful story. The game boasts beautiful locations, epic battles and charismatic characters. It's also curious to see the father-son relationship.

For me personally, the last Sony PlayStation game I'm waiting for on PC is The Last of Us Part II. Someone is also waiting for Bloodborne, and it would be nice to see the second part of Spider-Man too.
We'll see what 2025 has in store for us.

The name Kässbohrer has been familiar to me since my earliest years. Back then, my father worked as a bus driver on international routes and one of his buses was SETRA. The old Setra buses also had the Kässbohrer logo. You don't see that thing on the new Setra models anymore.
After that Dad moved to trucks and buses were a thing of the past. And then the trucks too...
I really miss traveling with my dad with buses and trucks, that was ETS for me in real life.
Personally for me this K-logo is a part of my pretty memories from those times when I didn't know what overthinking is and generally the grass seemed greener back then :)

Thanks to the Germans from this company and the Czechs from SCS for this collaboration and for warming my soul for a minute.

Every time a new state is released, I feel a real childish joy. It means expanding the territory in my favorite game, adding new roads and cities. Each state has its own unique landscapes and places. We're also slowly but surely making our way to the East Coast. Looking at the map, I realize that I have driven even closer to Chicago, Florida, New York. And I believe that as soon as possible the day will come when I will be able to literally travel the whole territory of the USA - this wonderful and best country in the world.
Traveling around the USA just saves my soul, and I know for sure that one day I will ride there for real.

Cool, I'm gonna take it on a road trip through Arkansas soon.

I'd love to travel the USA in real life, but for now it's virtual.

GOD BLESS AMERICA
