I dove into this game with absolutely no experience in the old school roguelike genre, and it was intimidating at first. But after about 20 minutes familiarizing myself with controls and quirks, the game was ripe for the taking.

And what a game it is. Everything about is just. Excellent. The lore and world-building are complex and through, the combat is strategic and satisfying, and making your build exactly as insane as you want is so so fun. The 88 hours I have were around what it took me to beat the game (or at least catch up with all the developed content) at a relaxed, exploration focused pace, and the continual quality of the experience meant I was driven to do it in just two weeks.
