Fallout 76 is not a perfect game, but I've played it and enjoyed it for almost 1000 hours at this point. There are many ways you can play: solo, with a team of randoms you work to find, or with a ton of friends on a Discord server or something. I think it's more fun with a few friends, but I've spent many hours alone wandering the wasteland.

The graphics are pretty nice, though the game suffers from I think a lack of true optimization. I have a very capable PC and sometimes get some frame stutter or general choppiness in certain scenes.

Gameplay is similar to Fallout 4 in many ways. Fairly smooth in general, though clunky in some areas like PVP (which isn't the main focus of 76).

Story is pretty solid, and Wastelanders will expand on this greatly.

There is a lot of hate for this game, some of it deserved, but a lot of negative reviews are trolls who want this game to fail to stick it to Bethesda or something. I get that, but most of those people stopped played many months ago. F76 is a fun and fairly immersive experience in the Fallout universe. I love playing it, despite its flaws, and will continu to do so for the forseeable future.
