Super-duper late review but wtv :D

Undertale is one of the very few games to make turn-based combat fun, most of monsters you encounter will have a bone to pick with you, and they all have their own specific attack patterns, each one being different and unique to them.

Most of the characters you meet are fun, engaging, and likeable. The locations in Undertale are nice to explore, there are many cool areas to visit. These two things just make the Undertale universe so much more interesting to be in, exploring places and interacting with characters is usually just a fun time.

The game also has multiple endings depending on how you choose to fight, both of the main endings endings are both powerful and unforgettable.

This game also has one of the best OST's I've heard in any game — hell, ANYTHING. Almost every single song in the game is really, really good and accompanies the fights, locations, and themes excellently.

If you have somehow never seen/played this game before I implore you to try, this game has an amazing soundtrack, interesting gameplay, and you will definitely not have a bad time with it.

tl;dr - Just get it, you're guaranteed to have a blast

Very in-depth and amazing universe simulator, I really had a lot of fun messing around. I only hope that the graphics (especially collision graphics) will be updated to look better in the future. Other than that I 100% recommend getting this game just for the fun of it.

Amazing visuals (especially at night), easy to learn gameplay, easy and cool base building mechanics, unique creatures, fun and interesting lore and story, and a beautiful soundtrack.

Great ocean survival game, highly recommended.

My absolute favorite childhood game, one of the most unique thing I've ever played.

It's a real shame that this game was never updated for HD resolutions.

Very fun concept of a game, with a great community of modders and content makers in general. Ravenfield is a sandbox FPS game where you can download community-made weapons from the workshop and hop into custom maps to fight bots in a variety of gamemodes. Currently hoping for more modes, QoL changes and above all, an official peer-to-peer or multiplayer mode.

Fun game, give it a try.

Games like this makes me wish I could leave a "mixed" review. It's disappointing in terms of missing content, but the game itself is far from bad, so it doesn't really warrant a negative review. So here goes.

Pros

The graphics and sound design looks and sounds amazing, every single area looks good and the levels are well designed with neat attention to detail.

The gameplay is easy to get used to and pulling off the perfect dodges are satisfying and rewarding.

The story is engaging with likable characters and interesting lore.

Soundtrack was a huge improvement from RE2make, with the return of save room music and having a better soundtrack overall.

Completing records will now reward players with credits that they can use to buy items/weapons for their next playthrough, giving the game more replay value.

Smooth, natural and great quality cutscene animations.

Voice acting was on point.

Overall a very easy game to enjoy.

Cons

Now, the cons. This game's campaign is very short (especially being ~US$60), lasting only roughly 4 hours even though I tried exploring everything.

The game also has a huge lacking in content compared to RE2make's extra modes. Although you can unlock "Nightmare" and "Inferno" mode after beating hardcore, it only changes some enemy and object placements, while the relatively easy "puzzles" still have same solutions.

Combat-wise, I have a lot to rant about. For one, there's a noticeable tone down in critical headshot chances and gore in general which is pretty disappointing. Zombie physics were so much more dynamic in RE2make, which is confusing as this game seems to completely downgrade the ragdoll physics and dismemberment system.

Despite wanting to be more action oriented, the zombies are still damage sponges. The assault rifle also somehow feels weaker than the pistol, and the shotgun doesn't feel that powerful anymore.

The decision to remove multiple choices and endings was a terrible idea in my opinion as it made R3make a very linear game, removing any depth and extra replay value the game could have had.

Pretty minor issue compared to the rest, but the lip syncing out of cinematic cutscenes is really poor.

All in all, R3make is a very good game. It just seems rushed and not worth the price, I feel that a couple more months of polishing as well as different development decisions, would have done this game a huge favor. I feel that this game should be worth US$40 instead, just because it feels like it has so much less to offer compared to RE2make.

However, even with all the downsides that I listed, giving it a negative review just doesn't sit right with me. Again, this game is amazing, you're almost guaranteed to have a good time, it just lacks content to justify the price.

To start, this game looks amazing, it keeps the "video-gamey" look while still managing to look realistic. The attention to detail in the models and textures, as well as the level designs are very well done. The effort these people put into making the game look as good as it is can clearly be seen.

The gameplay is easy to get used to, simple inventory system as well as an easy combat system. You will hardly get lost as the map tells you what you have missed or what you haven't explored by highlighting rooms in red.

It also makes you feel constantly tense (especially in the RPD), combined with great sound design, the game does a great job at making you feel immersed.

The game also has a lot of content to offer, there's a bunch of extra side stories you could do which are pretty fun challenges. The B scenarios are admittedly underwhelming as they are essentially the main story but cut down, would've loved to see a completely different path for B scenario or at least a more differing path.

My only real "issue" is that the zombies are way too tough to kill, they can take multiple shots to the head and still come back. Exploding zombie's heads is very satisfying and I just wish it happened more often.

tl;dr: RE2:Remake looks beautiful, is easy to pick up and a great experience overall.

I have not written a review like this in quite a long time but I felt like I had to for this game, so here we go. A Plague Tale is probably going to be my top story game for awhile, I don't see any upcoming game being better then experience I had with this one.

The story is interesting, fun and engaging, I won't go into spoilers for obvious reasons but the game does a good job at keeping you immersed in the story, I don't think I've ever been into with a story game like this before. A Plague Tale is a linear thirdperson story-adventure game with a pretty dark setting and atmosphere, it gets you interested in the story very early on and the story as a whole is well written. However, there's a minority of dialogue that I thought could be better but they are quite minor and did not take away from the experience.

The gameplay is pretty simple. It's easy to get the hang of whilst being fun as well as a satisfying combat system that doesn't get old. You pretty much always know where you're going and will rarely be lost despite not having any HUD indicators. A big portion of the game is spent getting from one place to another stealthily, avoiding or distracting guards. The stealth portion at no point felt repetitive, as the game has amazing pacing, because of that I never once thought "oh, sneaking around again". There are also a number of puzzles throughout the game that aren't boring while being relatively easy to complete.

The visuals looks gorgeous, and is definitely one of the best looking games out there. It has great attention to detail and beautiful looking level designs, paired with smooth and realistic animations. The game's graphics were done to near perfection, I say "near" as the facial animations could use a bit more expression and is the only thing I thought needed some touch up on. If you really pay attention you'll also notice some clipping (mainly with the spear death animation) but that's a nitpick.

Now what I think was done perfectly. The music. The soundtrack composed so well and I still can't get over how good it was. A Plague Tale's soundtrack puts you in the right mood even without the gameplay. The music queues perfectly and was composed to fit every scene. Combined with the stunning visuals and gameplay, it delivered such a good experience overall.

EDIT: Completely forgot this but there was also a minor issue with visible archers T-posing which took me out of it for a second as it was just funny.

tl;dr - A Plague Tale is a great story game with an interesting story, good gameplay, fantastic visuals and an even better soundtrack. Highly recommended.
