Came back to the game lot of years later and a lot has change (wait... you don't just summon one monster and set a trap card and call it a day?). Fun games though and love that I can build any virtual deck I want. Generous front loading gems to create ideal deck.

Not so ideal for new players to the game with little knowledge of it. Need different rank modes where people can't always play meta, there will have to be restrictions. Also there should be one game mode where you can only use cards from structure decks. People like me likes to play YGO with more than 1 turn where I watch my opponent summon his entire deck and everything I do is negated and I have to surrender. Ranked games should not be determined by the luck of the coin flip, going second is just game over. People love multiple turns where we can counter each other and play a fulfilling match out.

Meta decks are NOT the problem, not having different rank game modes is.

Gold battle pass need to give more than just mats, people love cosmetics! Get special battle pass ONLY fields, bg music, card sleeves etc that they can't get in the shop. If you miss out, YOU MISS OUT FOREVER. Don't limit that to only solo grind. And even in solo there wasn't that much cosmetics.

Post game "pre-set" chat options: I hate that I can't "GG" or "Add me as friend?" or "How about a re-match?" someone after a match. If toxicity is a concern, perhaps we can only say something pre-set as an option to send to our opponent. I think that would overall boost the morel of the community for this game. This game miss something where players can connect with the random person they were matched with. Like, what if I want to chat while playing with them (of course options to turn off voice chat as well for those that doesn't want it)? Many times, I played someone so good I want to ask them how they pull off certain combos or even ask for re-match because my hand was totally bad. I think that would be super helpful for new players, such as me, getting back into the game after so long I'm LOST. That would simulate IRL when you match up with someone and you guys can talk and I feel that that would really bring people together and make new friends. I now sound like I'm preaching, but isn't YGO centered around friendship and making friends with your honorable opponents? (and dueling for your soul, but we'll save that part for next time) .

Overall really fun game. I've recommended to all my friends, but the above is what is concerning. New-new players are completely overwhelmed and not too fun for them if they always lose in rank and with little help or guidance from other more seasoned players.
