This game has definitely sailed away from the blatant cash grab it once was, and is now very well worth the full price they ask for it.

There is plenty to do now: massive multiplayer, mechs, base building, abandoned ships in the middle of space to explore, nice little plotlines to keep you entertained while out in the open world, there's just so much content now.

Does it still feel vast and sometimes empty? Well, its to be expected. No matter how much content they add, the game will forever be a true space simulator. Space is huge and empty. This game captures that feel perfectly. There's no need for you to constantly have something to do, somewhere to go, some objective to complete. Sometimes, you gotta take risks. Sometimes, you just gotta appreciate the moment. The calmness of space (whenever you arent being jumped on by space pirates) and the relaxing feel of flying from system to system, planet to planet.

This game is gorgeous, its amazing, its entertaining, and most importantly, the masterpiece that was promised to us 4 years ago. It doesnt deserve to be brushed aside anymore. If youre looking to buy the game, please give it a second chance. I promise you, you wont be disappointed.
