This game has been giving me some amazing nostalgia for the old 2000s platformers I played as a kid!

The West Weald is gorgeous and they remembered the Goblin Wars, 10/10. 👌

Though it is definitely a bit on the short side. Or so it feels like, because it's hard to gauge just from looking at the number of chapters in the zone's story. Apocrypha and Elsweyr were a little bit longer, High Isle and Blackwood somewhere between, but this comes in just a tad shorter than that.

Though, they also don't include the Necrom + Gold Road epilogue chapters in that tally, and it's a longer adventure if you do. You gotta play both to get to that part, though, so if you only play Gold Road you're literally missing out.

Feels like the Secrets of Apocrypha campaign has hit what was Clockwork City in the Daedric War campaign. At least, presumably there's going to be more, but we'll know that for sure at the end of 2024.

Worth playing if you're enjoying the campaign so far. And if you're not so sure about the price tag, get it on sale or wait for when it'll be bundled in together with the next chapter after. Only thing you'd ever miss out on is the chapter's main zone being a little bit more active for the daily boss quests.

Nice and cozy to build things up and expand it all when you really get the ball rolling

Been having a fun time with this game overall, the soundtrack slaps and it looks really nice. Good humour and entertainingly over the top voice acting. Wish the Souls had 4 ability bar buttons instead of just 3, just for how many abilities each one has to choose from, though getting good at weaving between them is also pretty neat.

The poison room statue puzzle, an the timed lever puzzles, though. Very frustrating, would solve again!

This game made me feel like I was back playing the Jedi Knight series from 20 years ago, and that was a kinda awesome feeling 👌

Backtracking for collectible achievements would've been less agonising if the save spots were also fast travel spots, but it was still alright. Loved the evolving dynamics of the party members on the ship, pretty nice rounding off to the character beats in the story.
