Trying to track the map and everything that was going on had me basically always sending agents around in pairs of 2 so I could quickly interrupt things and not have to do as many missions all the time, but overall I thought this game was a lot of fun to play. 👍

Not sure how I would've played the game on the highest difficulties, easily hiding bodies was kind of a big deal, though once agents could have 2 Actions a lot of missions were pretty east to just "knock out and hide" just about everyone.

The ESO MMORPG formula honestly works really, really well. It actually manages to make the entire game feel relevant, rather than just the latest patch's worth of endgame content.

Managed to complete the game in around two hours, without using any hints along the way. The atmosphere of the game is great, the artwork is pretty gorgeous, and overall the game flows pretty nicely - no absurdly out-of-the-way puzzles or anything (though it took me a bit to figure that I had to mold the key).

Overall pretty clever, and really well made. Not entirely sure if there was much point in particularly defining the protagonist (versus "the protagonist is you"), as it only ever comes up at the very beginning and the very end. Still a pretty good game!

Early Access Review
TLDR; It's a great game, but right now (0.1.5) the matches can be over before they feel like they've started.

To expand on that, I bought this game expecting some kind of a city builder / management sim. The game is kinda like Settlers meets Civilization, so I got pretty much what I wanted in that sense! Trading, doing diplomacy, discovering lore, expanding, going to war, there's a lot of ways to play and win the game.

So it's obvious where it's got the Civilization quirk from. Plays like Settlers, wins like Civilization. Which sounds like fun, but, right now the win conditions feel way too quick. Everything feels set up for you to build and expand as fast as possible, accumulate resources and grow big ahead of the curve of the other players, like you would. Explore, expand, trade, collect resources, unlock lore perks, all that jazz. All these things feel like part of the early-mid game; you're just gearing yourself for the long haul.

But just when your clan feels big enough to throw some weight around, chances are you've probably won one of the conditions already. I've managed to build up a solid clan, gotten ready to mess with the other clans, and suddenly I've won. I've won trading, I've won lore, right when I'm ready to go kick som ass I've already won.

I'd really like the longer haul, of having to manage and sustain the clan I've built up, and right now I can only really do that if I make total domination the sole win condition. Still pretty fun, though.

Tried to claim the achievement for a 300 villager society without schools, using only hunting and gathering.

Now my townstead, built along a river bank and surrounded by small hunting/gathering campsites, has such an immense production of food that a lot of it goes straight to the trading post.

We just bought a massive supply of tools, clothes, and iron, with venison. Every trading post has at least 2000 pounds of venison in stock.

I've made a society where venison is the official currency.

10/10 would keep playing.

Play this game through to the end, and you will find yourself slowly driven mad as you realise the game's level design is actually a sinister ploy to make you lose your grip, over and over, in your attempt to reach the exit. It might start out with a hand on your shoulder and some encouraging words to help you along, but before you know it you find yourself thrown off the metaphorical cliff as you reset the same stage for the twentieth time in order to bypass the same obstacle, while the game gives you a patronizing pat on the back and asks if you don't want to just give up already.

Pretty game, the visuals are a work of art, but the level designers were a band of sadistic bastards beyond compare.
