You play as a squad leader with up to 4 companions which you can order to follow you, hold the position or use their special item. The special items are for example area of effect shields usable by the entire squad, area of effect healing station etc. You can also change the entire squad weapon and gear like different armor providing you extra health.

Your squad is fighting against robots who are killing everyone who they spot. Your goal is to destroy those robots and protect your colony.

In the world there is not much things you can interact with, basically you are following waypoints and shooting on the enemy while trying to take care of friendly fire. You may realize that you are holding a moving key and LMB at 99% during the game so it became very boring after a while. You cannnot set any option during playing - you have to set your mouse sensitivity, controls, sounds etc. in main menu. If you need to adjust anything during playing, you have to escape the level, escape the mission list, go to main menu, settings, keyboard, set your sensitivity, go back to menu, mission list, play the level again from its beginning and...if you realize that you need to adjust your sensitivity just a little bit again, you have to repeat all theese steps again.
