I had seen Richards earlier film on youtube which i enjoyed but i felt was very depressing i continued to follow him online and have been eager to see this latest doc, I can really relate to the guy alot as i too suffer the same struggles as he does and have followed the same path. i make Indie Movies and have done for well over a decade and i have tried to make a career out of it, whilst i have had some success i have had a lot failures too and financially i have hit a point where i can't even do it anymore so i now make small games on my own to output my creativity whilst i build up a plan to get myself back behind the camera. This doc whilst being super inspiring really hit home with me and made me feel quite depressed at points and then other parts made me want to take my head out of the sand and getting cracking with projects. I certainly reccomend this film to people trying to make it in Games its an honest look at it all.

I have owned this game for years back when everyone was going nuts for it, I had so much going on at the time with other games and making movies i never sat down to give it a go now all these years later and i decided to start playing it and now i am obsessed and addicted to it. It's a fricking Masterpiece!!!

Normally i cant get into stuff like this i dont play these style, games on my phone or tablet very often, and they really dont get me too excited, however this is a lot of fun and pretty addictive, the unlockables and the online multiplayer are really good too this is a fun little game well worth snapping up

I picked this up as Shmups are my favourite genre and i was eager to start making my own, The trailer sold me however the first couple of hours of owning it i felt a little disapointed the demo games felt clunky as hell and the included assets are very bland, however i decided to stick with found some tutorials by the dev on youtube mostly for an earlier version followed all of them a few times over and it all started to come together in my brain and my opinion of this kit changed i started to LOVE IT!

Whilst it's not the prettiest game dev soft out there it really is well thought out and quite simple to use and do pretty much anything you want in once you get your head around it. The Dev is also super helpful and always reachable on the steam community.

I am Currently involved in a month long Game Jam where i am using this software to create a full game so by the end of July i'll have a full project made in this so check with me then to see how i got on. But yes i reccomend this it's great!

Im a film fan and a gamer so gaming docs always sucker me in and there has been a fair few high score ones since King of Kong and the trailers for this looked good but i did fear it could just be a king of kong clone but it wasn't it was in fact a really good doc that in some ways betters Kong whilst that one wins for being one of the best story driven documentaries ever made the editing of that film is the real star and it painted Billy Mitchell as a super villain where as this is more real and human and shows the lengths these guys go to break the records. Brilliant Doc well worth checking out

Bega huge SHMUP fan i try my best to check out all shooter releases on steam, and this one from the artwork and trailers looked pretty cool however it's a Twin Stick shooter and being oldschool myself i prefer to play with an Arcade Stick however i was pleasently surprised that the dev included an arcade stick control method in the options but it is a lot harder to master playing it that way so i did resort back to pad and twin stick, and i gotta say its a lot of fun. The Bounce mechanic is a really good idea. the game is a combination of platforming blasting and dodging with a clever score system. this is an addictive little gem i highly reccomend.

This has to be my favourite steam game i love it action packed lovely looking insane music and so much fun to play it does have a unique control style and i wish they could have added some pad support as i am more a pad player than a keyboard and mouse guy but other than that its perfect.

Having a day reviewing lots of the games i played on steam and this comes up in my most played list to be honest i had forgotten about it until now which is strange since i clocked so many hours into it. but thinking back i got pretty hooked to this it was interesting and weird and that's what i like. i need to revist it soon.

For some one who doesent really like the RPG genre it's weird that i would put COSTUME QUEST in my top 20 games of all time. But it's True it's a masterpiece i love the halloween setting the quirky humour and characters everything about this game is charming and magical, i have still yet to play through the sequel i need to

I liked Blood Bowl the real game as a kid, a few years ago myself and my friends picked this up and played a league and i sucked at it i sucked so bad i never won a match i got so frustrated that i vowed never to play it again and i havent done since i can't reccomend it just because i hate how much i suck at it haha but really you should decide for yourself on this one but personally i found it a lot harder than the real thing.
