Have not regonized a boost in frames one bit. It makes it sound like a complicated task but in reality, it only uses a task manager sort of thing to make sure your only running your game.

Heya Mister Foster! CPUCores does not use Task Manager, or anything similar to it, to perform it's actions. It is a custom application that changes dozens if not hundreds of processes in a single click.

Sorry to hear you are having some problems! Perhaps I can help?

Also, for testing, I suggest using the FRAPS free version fps benchmark (not video recording). Play the game as normal (all your normal apps, browsers, Steam, etc open) and use it with and without CPUCores for maybe 5 minutes. Then open the FRAPS log files and compare results, especially the minimum FPS.

I hope you can take a peek at the settings and see if things can work and then hopefully feel positive enough to take that into account for your review.

Happy gaming and I wish you well :)
