This game is awesome... and yet utterly horrible. It has most of the things I like in Conan universum, both books and films. It has big and rich world, fantastic building system that allows you to make structures unseen in any other game. It has also wonderful Basil Poledouris- like score, good levelling system and several great and fresh ideas like thralls - slaves you beat unconcious, drag home with rope and force them to be in your precious crew. Sadly, at the same time Conan Exiles has absolutely unprecedented amount of bugs, that includes combat, graphic bugs like flying people and stuff or suddenly missing parts of your house/building/castle.

It has also some gameplay flaws. However I understand the thoughts behind the "purge", mostly cleansing the servers from long time unused stuff, I hate it and I mean with deep, internal, from-the-heart hate. Not because it is difficult or something - it is not. When you are online. Thing is that if you are not able to login for a FEW DAYS (and i mean like 4 days or so..), it doesn't really matter that you have your fortress filled with tens of armored fighter thralls in great armor - you simply log in after this period and find out, that all your craft tables, all your containers, all your treasures you collected, everything you worked your a** for, it is all gone. Forever.

True is that on the character level I am right now it wouldn't take days to build it again, probably 6-10 hours. But even though I really like this game and I wanted to carry on for some time, I just can't force myself to do that anymore. I died to many times because of bugs, I lost many things before because of bugs and now I just don't want to spend more hours in a game, where I can't be sure it won't be another waste of my time.

I am absolutely sure many gamers will enjoy this game on a massive scale. I did to, for almost 100 hours. That is the reason why I am thumbing it up - it is not a bad game by design. But I consider it a missed opportunity to be a true gem.

The developers seems to be trying, so maybe in future, with most of the bugs out and gameplay a bit tweaked I'll give it one more chance.

EDIT 2022:
I don't know when I will play the game again, so I keep it installed. What really pi** me off is that almost EVERY PATCH is a 50+ or 70+ GB download. What are the devs thinking these days? "Oh, nevermind guys, let's not even try to work this out, just let them download ALL F***ing game EVERY TIME we want to add anything"?

Either this is the worst programmed game ever because it's not possible to really patch anything, you have to change whole game... or the developers are lazy, because it really isn't common and 99% of games doesn't force you to do this.

Superhot is one of the most innovative shooters I've played in years.
Basically a slowest very quick shooter ever made. You have to make precise moves in miliseconds, but here's the thing> Time moves only when you do.

+ : theme, gameplay, ideas, time element
- : a bit short for the price (but has endless mode)

Too pricey, below average game IMO.
It has overcomplicated controlls (roll, climbing a ladder, aiming up, entering a house and jumping is 5 different keys - not saying it can be done all in one, but hey...). I hate immediate spawning of enemies (kill two guys, move 1 screen to the right, move a bit to the left, two guys are there again shooting at you). And there are even some problems that are absolutely unnecessary: e.g. remaping keys doesn't tell you that you have two things on 1 key. That, on the other side, lets you experience dying in some original way (for example by opening inventory instead something you wanted to do). Also boring generic soundtrack.

On the plus side, there is some collecting materials and crafting, which seems fine. And it has sometimes funny graphics.

The main reason I am thumbing it down is the price: right now it's for 20$ which is laughable, when you see what games (or whole collection of games) you can get for that. The price around 6$ with 20$ for 4-pack would suit it much more.

NOTE: Review above is based on singleplayer. The game has co-op and multiplayer which I didn't try, but while it can raise the fun you get with the game, I doubt it would change the flaws I described.

A good game, kinda reminiscent of the old Bomberman on Sinclair ZX Spectrum.
Place bombs, collect codes to doors, hide in shadows and/or start ultra mayhem blast chaos!

I didn´t expect much and the game surprised me. Game mechanics are fine. Sometimes there are even puzzles with more than one solution, because you can bomb your own way forward (i mean, literally - you make path in terrain with your bombs). Even though I suffered frustration, I blame my fat clumsy fingers more than the game itself.

Not a long game, though, 8 maps pieces, 28 levels. You can finish it in about 5 hrs.
+ Community maps. Over 100 of them.

If you are into Achievements, you can make most of them easily - 12/13, 92%.
However... if you want to collect all 100 percent, there are people who say it took about 3 more hours, but I still believe you have to be buddhist monk with russian acrobat skills and timing of a p0*nstar. The horror part is you see you can do it, but then you make a tiny, tiny mistake...

Ironcast is beautifuly polished game. However the gameplay fails in many ways, the overall presentation deserves mentioning as it truly elevates the game into "thumbs up" teritory. This has to be said in the first place.

Nonetheless, actual gameplay is far from flawless. Ironcast is clearly engineered for you to fail and doesn't feel like a roguelike at all. A good roguelike in my opinion punishes your mistakes, but gives you a fair chance to succeed. Problem is, that Ironcast is not hard, but unfair. In many cases you simply can't win. It seems Ironcast is purposely made this way by design, because every time you lose, you get permanent bonuses for future games. That means you need to grind (play the early game over and over) and boost your chances to acceptable level.

Ironcast is not a "cheap game" by any means, no matter the errors. I DO like it, and DO recommend it. It's too good game for you to miss. But take this review as a kind of warning, so you won't be dissapointed by it's missing of fair, truly roguelike elements.

Just simple nice puzzle game. Don't expect much, it's basically „Mines” in Windows with better graphics, hexagons and a bit more complex rules (e.g. "bombs must be close together", "bombs can't be one beside the other” and so on).

+ it's possible to reach 100% achievement very quickly (1-2 hours)
+ great thing is, that everytime I thought I am stuck and have to wish for luck, there was a logical solution. Maybe 2x during the game I made "I'm feeling lucky" click, but there is an obvious attempt by the developer to make every puzzle soluble, so maybe I just didn't see it.

Short, but nice and original little puzzle game based on a previous freeware game.

Not very hard, all 50 levels took me 77 minutes, during which you can make 100% achievemnt (there is only one, for finishing the game).

Well worth a buy in a range <2$

I have to be honest here - it is some time from my „release date” review and Sean Murray with other developers of NMS did what only few expected: they fixed the game. And not only that, they still improve the game to this day. Right now it is a lot of fun and kinda unique game.

They may not be the best in PR, but they didn't screw up the players. And I have to appreciate that, it's not so common these days. Therefore I happily change my No to Yes, it is definitely worth a buy now.

I finished this so you don't have to.

There is not much going on in this game:
You click about 18.500x (really, not an overstatement).
And you get 100% achievement.
Yes, that,s it.

If you really really want 100% achievement + trading cards, you can have it for a low price of 1$ + new mouse + carpal tunnel syndrome treatment.

notes:
music: one loop of The Sims-like track. Very annoying.
graphics: one picture of mayo. Sometimes dressed in leopard bikini.
warning: the game crashes when you hit Escape.
be aware: for achievements you have to switch to another "story" in a pause menu.
