Everything good about RoR1 but better and in 3D. Honestly a complete improvement.

Love this game. Gameplay is fast and intense. Controls are about as smooth as they come. Levels are very atmospheric. Music is on point. Can't wait for the full release and recommend everyone pick up this game.

Hat in Time does almost everything right. The levels are interesting and greatly differ from eachother so it's a new experience every time, the music is amazing, the controls are about as smooth as they can be, (I may be in the minority but) the voice acting is pretty well done and the boss battles are challenging and fun. The game is a bit short and the story is kinda non-existent for much of the game, but overall those blemishes don't distract from the overall value of the game. Quality over quantity. 8/10.

This game is VERY hit or miss. When it does stuff right it knocks it out the park but when it goes wrong, well, you get the idea. The open world gameplay is some of the best that I've played in a while. You aren't really restricted as to how you approach a scenario except for a few story missions. The fulton system allows for some rewarding gameplay outside of just completing missions and advancing the story, this combined with the iDroid interface and deep development system keeps me coming back to this game to search for the next S rank guard. The online functionality is pretty simplistic but fun as well adding a few intersting tweaks to an attack and defend style online game.

Now the bad. The story seems lacking, now for most people that may not be a bad thing but this is a METAL GEAR SOLID game and if you are not familiar with why that is relevant you should take a couple hours and watc- I mean play MGS4. MGS has traditionally been about fleshed out and sometimes heinous story with crazy twists. However this game has relatively short custscenes with little deviance from a standard "Bad guy does bad things so stop him" style of hero movie. And that's just it though, this game isn't really supposed to be about heroism, it's supposed to be about Big Boss's descent into being a major villain but instead we just get some luke warm explanation of why he's nothing more than just a ♥♥♥♥. Both the story and gameplay take a major nose dive in the second chapter of the game, with most of the missions featuring rehashed story missions that actually put restrictions on how you complete them (remember how this is an open world game?), the story in the second half has some really crappy pacing too as it comes to a screeching stop once you reach the end of the game with a twist that really has no build up at all and doesn't really elicit that much emotional response being that it feels as if everything was for naught.

All in all however, if I'm looking at this as a game, it definitely succeeds. Aside from the lack luster story and the repetitive latter half of the game, the sheer amount of content (even though there is cut content) and depth of said content keeps me coming back.

Play this game if you enjoy crushing your opponents until the very last turn where a little animu girl kicks your ass and wins with some bull dice roll that's obviously rigged (if anything just don't play story mode, it is actually rigged.)

The fact that nobody is on late on weekdays and that every TTT server is 24/7 minecraft says a lot about this community.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I love this game.
Lovely Planet is an FPS where your goal is to kill all the enemies in the map and make it to the finish in as little time as possible. It's got the art and music of Katamari Damacy and the speed run action of Super Meat Boy. It's not entirely linear either, I feel like I could keep going back to maps and still find new shortcuts and routes to cut down my best time. If you want a feel-good game but also a pretty nice challenge, I insist you pick up this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awseome-ass, psychedelic game.
