A solid 9/10. Plays like a simpler, shorter version of Blasphemous.

The stiff combat, requiring you to memorize attacks and level layout, lack of checkpoints is all very similar to Soulslike games and as usual that comes with a group of people that will negatively review the game as they lack literally any skill and need their baby mode to make it through the game. Some ignorant people don't even realize there's a checkpoint system despite it telling you at the very start of the game.
