There was a time when Valve didn't needed any sort of proof to ban someone, if a certain number of reports was reached, he would get banned immediately for nothing

And because of that i was VAC banned from these games :
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Multiplayer
- Call of Duty: Black Ops - Multiplayer
- Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Multiplayer
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Multiplayer


False-positive bans are a thing, but most of the time you just get unbanned

Be for me it's wasn't the case, i tried multiple times to contact Steam to talk about this problem that remove my access of 240€ worth of games but nothing seems to work.
