As things stand, this game feels like a PC Port gone wrong. It's prone to memory leaks and crashing with no warning, even with a fairly beefy system. I love the game, but the fact that I can only play it for half an hour to an hour before it crashes, I cannot recommend this game. Not before these issues are fixed.

And I do not understand how this game is supposed to be able to run on the Laptop i got it with, when it's suffering even on my main desktop.

Update: Possible fix that somewhat stabilizes the game. was found by seatching a bit around. Go to the Just Cause 3 folder, and set the file to run on Compatibility Mode for Vista(Service Pack 2). Fixed most issues for me, even on my laptop. Still cannot recommend the game due the hoops I had to jump through to get it to work.

I already have a desktop, with parts that surpasses the recommended specs. The fact that it was suffering on that system can only indicate that the game is at fault here

Ports are for games that were originally made for a certain platform only, then modified for another. This is not a port, since it was made for all three platform types. Also, you don't need to cough up $1500 for a good desktop. That's a waste of money. Just grab a basic desktop with a decent motherboard and then start rebuilding from there. Saves you a ton of money.

It was a gaming laptop though. With a decent i5 and a 960m. Got it to run, even on that by doing the few steps I had to do to stabilize the game.

these companies ship next gen games on fairly shitty gaming laptops on purpose, it makes them tons of money. You cant and won't refund the game, and will never be able to play it on any laptop without paying 3000 dollars first. I remember when capcom was giving away dead rising 3 on laptops that probably couldnt even run the first 2. What a joke these fat suits are.

My desktop sports some of the more powerful things I could get
i7 - 4790K
16 GB RAM at the time of the Review
GTX 980 Ti

The Compatibility Mode has fixed most of the issues though.

To many things installed and running or on your desktop? That lags a computer alot.
