EDIT: No longer recommend buying this game on the PC port. Devs have already abandoned the game, so don't expect any future content updates. Gameplay is still decent, but just know that the Devs are just keeping up the game up for money at this point, and they still have not addressed the basic desync issues.

OLD REVIEW:

This game is probably one of the best rhythm games currently on the steam store. Gameplay is fun and addictive, and it has lots of replayability value. However, it has some very annoying issues.

Pros:
-Kind of like riding a roller coaster, makes gameplay interesting
-Lots of replayability, game has high skill ceiling
-Game features beautiful background art, and is very appealing to look at
-New content is constantly being added
-Allows you to play a popular arcade game without needing to go to an arcade!
-You can disable the anime character ( :D )

Cons:
-Game has some minor synchronization issues, these issues become more apparent in the more complex levels
-Price is a bit steep in comparison to other rhythm games
-This is a big one: This game has the dumbest offline play policy that I don't see many other reviewers bringing up. Basically, you can only play the game for 7 days offline when not connected to steam. Which is absolutly unacceptable, considering that THIS IS A SINGLEPLAYER GAME. I don't understand why this is even necessary, and is a dumb practice that I very much despise, and I very much do not like supporting.

Overall, excellent rhythm game but with a BS offline policy. 7/10, perhaps a 9/10 if the game would remove its offline policy.

okay, but how do you controll the game? because on the arcade one you had 2 fat joy-sticks with buttons on top (for hits)

Nope. It’s still there... :GDHarder: They don’t seem to like addressing it and last time they did on the forums they gave a vague answer, basically stating that they have no plans of removing it -.-

Have they done anything about the whole 7 days thing?
Kind of putting me off right now, despite how tempted I am to get it.
