Tau Cubis is a great little hidden tower defense gem. The developer is really responsive in the discussion forums if you happen to encounter a glitch not already fixed. If you liked Defense Grid, you'll probably like Tau Cubis. It's low cost, and adds value for fans of the genre who don't want to replay other tower defense games over again. It doesn't have a plot, but plot deficiencies are not uncommon for TD games. The store page recommends a gamepad, but all the time I've completed the campaign and most other missions types using a keyboard and mouse for the 50+ hours spent playing it so far.

Tau Cubis will keep you busy with 111 total challenges (map-mode combinations). In addition to campaign, there are modes that include Super Wave, Super Mission, using specific types of towers, a time limit, a limit on how many towers can be placed, and no tower upgrades. There's an in-game leaderboard for each mission to give you a sense of accomplishment. The only design choice that bugs me especially is that wave counts are not available for all modes. Update: the developer responded to feedback and implemented wave counters for all missions! I'm not a fan of the time limit mode and tower count limit mode, but they're not terrible. There are an array of tower types that can be fun to experiment with on the different maps and play modes.

A very original game bullet-hell game, roughing it out against a variety of geometric shapes, whose only goal is to give you a worse Windows experience than Vista.

I would have recommended this game at one time, but the only reason to play it now is if you don't want achievements and/or plan to play entirely with people you already know.
Anytime I try to join a public game lately I find myself just sitting around and then canceling the attempt, and playing with bots. Match making is simplistic and if you want to play a particular map, you're subject to whether it's 1 of 3 that shows up. They've retired the Clan Arena mode (which was my favorite) and exclude several other modes from bot 'practice' mode, and since I can't find normal multiplayer sessions, that just leaves me playing the same old matches against the same old bots. I'm pretty sure 1 or 2 of the achievements are dependent on cheating, the game modes they pulled, or having friends on the opposing team sacrifice themselves in a timely manner (I'm looking at you, Avatar of Death!).
The season battle pass system offers almost the same rewards from one year to the next. Every other year they seem to release a new map and the expense of pulling an old one, but otherwise the only new content is Zenimax forcing a new EULA. Thanks Zenimax!

A good, somewhat casual game that I feel is worth being a paid (<=$5) game. It's a game that includes quite a bit of sex, but it's got a plot independent of sex. This is good because the sex sequences themselves aren't anything to rave about and some of them are l pretty short activity loops, but they do provide entertainment. The character dialog scripting is good, and you can enjoy the normal interactions. The textures are a little dated and on the plain side. The character models are alright, the background music is suitable for the environment.
This is the second Classy Lemon game I've played, and though it's not as good as Projekt: Passion, if you like one, you'll probably like the other.

Can be fun to play, but as an online multiplayer-only game, you're at the mercy of New World's matchmaking system, which is terrible. Want to play as Security? Too bad infidel- you'll play as an insurgent until win the lobby vote! Like map X? You can play it in the next rotation in 20 minutes after you finish playing on a team that enjoys flashbanging friendlies like it's going out of style (again, only if you win the lobby vote). You get plenty of free time watching everyone else because you were placed into a session after the last spawn point with 3 minutes left before the end of the match. On the bright side, the weapon system is mega fun.

It's free with the game. Around 60 pages of professionally-done comic that features characters from the game. No complaints here; it's great!

I have a mixed feeling about Isle of Siptah. It's much more than a lot of DLC packages; in some ways it's a smaller-scale equivalent to the main game. Beautifully rendered landscape, a pretty good island feel with challenges that are pretty distinct from what you'll get in the base game. Challenges present themselves a little quicker than in the base game, but if you're patience, it's do-able.

What I don't like about it is that it is completely independent from the base game, and that sucks if you want to play both on official servers. Due to Funcom's (in)ability to manage their servers and decay timers they've implemented on all official servers, if you've created characters in the base game and in the Isle of Siptah, plain on logging into each one every week to prevent all your belongings and thralls (minions) from vanishing, even on PVE servers. Going on vacation? Better get your housesitter to log into Conan Exiles servers to keep your stuff from disintegrating.

Conan Exiles and Isle of Siptah are great games to play, but the occasional Funcom screw up or the need to login regularly to multiple environments gives playing on official servers an obligatory feeling, unfortunately. If you're looking for a game to get in hardcore, it's a valuable expansion, but be prepared for a commitment or to lose everything you work to accumulate in-game.

OutDrive's visual design is awesome, and its audio elements aren't bad, but the collision programming is problematic and there's a clipping glitch. My car falls through the ground into a void or launches into the air toward infinity and beyond. For a simple game where all you need to do is drive at a constant speed and avoid obstacles, that's a big problem.
Some players have reported problems of stolen license keys in unlicensed bundles, where those keys are deactivated by the developer. If you are going to buy OutDrive, make sure you buy it from its own Steam store page.

I strongly recommend against buying this FNIX Rising DLC. It appears that over time there are issues between it and the base game code. The missions and components related to it cause game-stopping glitches, and in some cases, players cannot resume playing anywhere in the game until after uninstalling this DLC. I myself have experienced the game crashing six consecutive times on one of the DLC's missions alone. I recommend looking at how few positive reviews have been posted in the past couple years through now.

Fun bullet hell. Achievements seemed broken but it was just that the counters didn't track progress after 5,000, even though achievement progress continued. Better instructions on how stats work would have been helpful too.
