The short of it is that this game doesn't make you feel that you can do anything to affect the outcome. If decisions have half the impact on success that random number generation does, I haven't been able to see it.

Awesome game that has aged really well, despite being almost 15 years old. Instead of superficial fluff, the core mechanics of the game received the most attention and it shows. Well thought-out maps with good varieties of play modes available. If you're only going to buy only one bird's eye view tower defense game, this is the one I'd recommend.

It is not disclosed on the store page, but you need to install BattlEye anticheat software in order to play. I don't like cheaters, but I also don't like third party software companies demanding permission to update at time, operate at the kernel-level, and the ability to access anything in my PC's memory. Shame on New World Interactive for not stating this before the game is purchased. Requested a refund.

It's like Rad Racer or Outrun, but only one mode has a time limit- in the others you race until you crash. Keeping the 80's alive.

Pretty fun casual puzzle game. Graphics so great they are only rivaled by the Atari 2600.

I'm not generally a fan of DLC since the value is often worse than the base game. Annihilation Line is good stuff though. No gimmicky stuff like different-colored outfits or another way to kill Hitler that could have easily been included into an original game. This is a pretty good story driven supplement that takes place around the same time as halfway through Terminator: Resistance, but it works fine if you play it after you completed the base game. Depending on how thorough you are with exploration, it can run around 6 hours of enjoyable gameplay. If you like the base game, Annihilation Line shouldn't disappoint.

Cons:
  • You can't do the nasty with Ferro.

Great racing game. Mega impressive graphics and good sound. Gives you plenty of different car options and racing types, but the attention to detail and customization are where the developer really shined. You can configure just about everything, so if you're an amateur at racing sims like me, you can adjust settings to help you along until you get good. If you're starting off good, you can set the computer controlled adversaries to be extremely challenging. If you want to drive a manual transmission or automatic, the game has you covered. Whether you play on a potato or are running a RTX 3090 and 64GB RAM, you can adjust the visuals accordingly for that too. Slightly Mad Studios put a lot of love into this game.

Awesome game. Its vision might not be 100% original, but it takes elements from a lot of awesome sources and mixes them together very well. The depth of the game, attention to detail, and the story are amazing. Over the year I've had Cyberpunk, it's come a long way. I was only mildly affected by bugs when it came out, and only twice ever has the game completely locked up on me. The successive patching over the months has made it very stable, and I still enjoy it now as much as ever. Due to a number of alternative story branches and just enjoying the detailed environment CD Projekt Red created, the replay value is high.

Grinding and RNG are what the game is about. Clear levels several times on different difficulties, facing the same enemies with slightly harder stats. If you find achievements important, consider that you'll also need to spend $15 USD or whatever Wrath of the Necromancer happens to be going for or order to get 100% achievements in the base game list because it requires the DLC.
