Not quite as scary as I expected it to be. More frustrating if anything; you'll find yourself in a locker one third of the game; another third is when you finally get out of the locker, only to be insta-heard by the Alien, which forces you to jump into the next one and repeat (the last third is when you make actual progress). I played on Hard which might be why. The game is easy - if you're patient. But being forced to retreat into lockers all the time can certainly challenge your inner demons and make you go full YOLO (which will cost you several retries).

Biggest issue with the game is that it's way too dragged out; the devs should've cut it down several hours. I thought (and wished) the game would soon end, 2-3 hours before it actually ended, which is never good. I also kinda wish the puzzles or whatever, would be more challenging.

Other than that it's really good; I'd say 7/10. But SOMA is the overall superior game here (sorry Alien fangays).
