For the people saying this game is good:
Is this good for the experience? Would blind players enjoy this?
Or is your nostalgia fueling a sort of ignorance?

For the people saying this game is bad:
Yes, I hear you. I beat it in under 4 hours with only 17 more achievements to unlock, with my only fuel to replay the game being the unofficial VR mod.

Please keep in mind; this game was birthed from the lead creator wanting to experiment with a 2D art style in a 3D world.
Not everyone can pace their stories well, especially for a chapter based game.
Story writing takes time to get good at, Scott Cawthon (FNaF Franchise) being a prime example.

Chapter 3 can be a grueling task of:
- Gather 3 things.
- Bring them to Alice.
- Don't die.
These tasks and the true reason why you are doing them doesn't become clear until the end of the next chapter, and most people don't make the connection.

With the story telling a little oddly placed, connected story elements not becoming immediately clear to the player, Bendy and the Ink Machine feels greatly inferior to its successor, Bendy and the Dark Revival.

MY VERDICT: Wait until a sale, you might get both major titles for $20 in a bundle. Bendy and the Dark Revival is a much better game.
