The old man pulling 50G turns had me tweaking but a pretty fun game.

As someone who had played the original a decade ago as a teenager who was first exploring horror games and discovered Silent Hill 2, this remake was exceptional. Not only did it do the original justice, but in my honest opinion it surpassed it, the fact that this remake was so good fills me with nothing but joy.

Performance is an issue, though in my experience certainly not terrible enough to ruin your whole experience, but your mileage may vary.

A beautiful game, not only in rich lore but also in diversity, while yes the dark souls games are notorious for their difficulty, it just makes the experiencing the win all the more rewarding, a lot of play styles and weapons to suit your needs. Your experience is always gonna be different from what someone else might have said so the experience is still fresh in subsequent play throughs.

For the Dlcs, Ashes of ariendel is fine while it does feel short, it is quickly redeemed by sister friede boss fight, for the ringed city, it's just very very nice and cool like it has a PvP boss bro how cooler can you get, The areas might seem frustrating at first but you'll the hang of it. All in all, great game if you haven't picked it up yet, you should definitely give this a try, but i'll say one thing, the dlc massively adds to the experience so i would rather recommend grabbing the dlcs too.

For pvp, git gud or get pointed down on son.

For my first fighting game,

It is nice, the combos are easy to understand but still need some amount of skill to pull off, there is an intricate tutorial so you wouldnt feel confused af if you decide to go through the tutorial at least till intermediate, while i do think the diagonal directions are a bit iffy but you can get the hang of it after a while. The visuals are nice the game runs smoothly but yeah i don't get online matches so theres that.

At the point of writing this review i don't have as many hours a standard grindfest mmo should need but the combat is satisfying, if you're new to the franchise like me, adjusting to monster hunting can take some time as they feel a longer and lack of a health bar for the monster can be uncomfortable at first but it sets perfectly in the end as from the first game of the series the health bar hasn't been there either way,so try your best to adjust.


But character creation has no boob slider, almost made me give it a zero alright.

A really nice metroidvania with cool platforming and very touhou like bosses, wouldnt feel as far from home and also
