Great adaptation for the Creeper saga to a sideview game. But is it an improvement?

The legendary TD game goes sideways. A very interesting approach, and it works in my opinion. However, if you are new to Creeper franchise, I would suggest Creeper World 3: Arc Eternal. I haven't been able to begin Creeper World 4, which takes things into 3D. Every TD thrives in the horizontal plane. Everything on top are either cherries on the cake, or degradation of gameplay. With Creeper World IXE it explores a very interesting new way to deal with the Creeper. Although I haven't played for long, I have hundreds of hours in the other games.
