So this is a decent remaster of the already excellent Horizon Zero Dawn game. I played it on a laptop with RTX 3070ti (8gb VRAM), ADM Ryzen 7 6800H and 16gb RAM at 1440p. High preset, certain settings set to medium and dynamic DLSS. Avg FPS for me was around 55 with dips to 45s (not too often but during combat and city lights).

But then again, I played on a laptop, not a beefy PC. The performance was almost equivalent to the OG game when I dropped the preset to medium whilst still looking almost the same as High settings.

Pros:

- The graphics now look like Forbidden West, especially the facial animations
- If you own the original HZD game on steam, it'll let you import your saves. I imported my previously completed game and everything was just as I left it.
- This appears to be well optimised game. Almost consistent 55-60 FPS.
- The facial animation now look like Forbidden West, which is top notch.
- DLSS implemented very well.

Cons:

- Requires signing in to PSN account which was a minor nuisance at the starting of the game

- Even though the game let's you transfer saves, the achievements you have in the original game DOES NOT transfer to the remaster. You'll have to earn them again. A slight bummer.

Overall a really decent remaster. I'll still say it, HZD didn't really need a remaster but what we got is also not that bad.

NOW PLEASE RELEASE BLOODBORNE TO PC ASAP!!!!!!

The Button is not there when it wasn't able to find old saves. So you have to download Horizon Forbidden West again to download your saves and then it should be there

@Mookel , im on windows and i either failed to notice the button or it is not there

Okay so it turns out, this button is not there on Linux. This seems to be a Windows Only thing. Kind of a bummer. Thank you for your help though. I'll see if I can get my Saves on Linux. I'm guessing that the savefiles have to be on the system in order to be able to import them. That does not require you to have the game installed, though you need the saves on your PC to get them to show up to get imported. Since you create a new Filedirectory on Linux for games running on Windows, there won't be any saves to find. Kinda sad that they didn't bother, but it is how it is.

Okay, gonna try logging in on there

Yes, I had logged into PSN when I was playing the OG game last year too. That might be the reason, I'm not fully sure.

Did you log into PSN on the other edition? I can't see the button

@erratic_gamer: I did not have it installed. Played it on steam last year.
