This is a demake of IRON STORM, iron storm has more features, a third person mode, a flashlight, the ability to drop your weapons, quicksaving/quickloading.

Play iron storm instead (ON EASY DIFFICULTY THIS IS NOT A JOKE OR ELSE YOU WILL MAKE 700 QUICKSAVES) and understand that iron storm is a hybrid puzzle/shooter game. With the first two levels being standard shooter game levels. And the remainder of the game being a LONG journey of one very large level. Had i known this earlier i would have enjoyed it way easier. Its a weird masterpiece.

They remade the exact same game on a worse game engine while removing almost every single feature from the original. I wish this was sarcasm. The only thing better about it is that its VASTLY easier and you dont need to quicksave 700 times to beat it. However they also removed all the video game aspects from the game as well. For example you no longer need to find hidden buttons, you no longer need to find power switches to remove dangerous electricity in the water, you now just run through the game and hold down the shoot button lol. Its like they call of dutified a once sophisticated shooter game.

-You quite literally can not equip or experience the machine pistol in this remastered game because the developers removed the ability to drop weapons.. So you cant drop the worthless silenced pistol at all. In 34 years of gaming this might be the dumbest thing ive ever witnessed in gaming history

-You have to quit the game back to the main menu to access the LOAD GAME page

How is it even legal to release something like this?

its just absolutely worse in every way, even the graphics are now lower resolution textures.

I reccomend playing through the original (on easy difficulty as every other difficulty makes the game nearly impossible where you have to make 700 quicksaves just to beat it). There is a lot of stupidity in that game as well (like the developers just not being smart enough to put health packs around) but its actually a really great journey overall
