On the third day of owning the game, I recommend this game. So lets go through some of things you will need to know.

1.backing up is NEEDED, since this game is prone to universe and player corruption if you not handle the game with care. I recommend to back up your saves and such on a session basis.

2.if your universe is modded with 3rd party biomes and such and you want to remove the mod. You will have to delete the universe file so I will recommend you to make a back up and remove any items you want from it before deleting it. Don't worry deleting your universe doesn't delete your ship or player.

3.Take modding with extreme caution. Since most mods arn't going to mix well with each other. This may end up in player or universe issues if you don't do your research.

4.Your going to get heart broken, a lot. I lost one of my chars and I got attached to it. This is why I recommend you to do a backup at the end of every session you do.

5.This game supports discord invites, so if your friend has starbound, come on! let them join in on the fun!

6.The game has a strong modding community, with an mod for everything you basically want nearly. (Lewd to if you know a couple mods)

7.Steam version is the best version for modding since it's open and easy to mod ways.
