Mount & Blade is an awesome Middle Age based roleplay game which covers a interesting singleplayer waiting to be explored by you, you enter a chaotic world torn apart by kings and their wars.. Singleplayer:
You travel and manage your troops on a tactical overview which makes it easier for you to see what's going on in the Open World. The battlefield, towns and all the places you might visit can be explored by your own character (in First and Third Person).
If it's spectecular butcherys on the field, huge siege attacks and defenses, a tournament in one of the countless towns or just a brawl in the pub.. the fighting is always a joy.
Help poor villagers, roam through the lands as a pillager, show your devotion as a vassal or establish your own kingdom, it is all up to you! Feasts and marriages were not forgotten in Mount & Blade of course and the rich story will fascinate you even more!

Items:
The big variety of armor, weapons, horses etc. makes the Gameplay enjoyable and exciting since you won't just always find that one boring bow or the steel armor you were looking for..
Every fraction has it's own usage of weapons and equipment: some might be riding on horseback with bows while others are charging as infantry with sharp axes.

Character:
Level up! Gather XP by completing quests or fighting for your honor.. it will be useful since you can specify yourself and distribute skill points on all kinds of things that might fit your playstyle and strength of your character.

Multiplayer:
Enough of all that travelling, you just want to shatter those skulls?
No problem, the multiplayer offers all the joy of the battlefield you might be searching for!
You can take part in several different modes: Deathmatch, Siege, Commander Battle or Invasion.. just to name a few.
The spirit of fighting side by side with your friends against other players (or bots) is pretty intense and is always worth its time.

in the Steam Workshop that make it possible to switch to almost any time you'd want.
