A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.... this great real-time strategy Game of STAR WARS was made and let me tell you it's probably still one of the best Space Strategy Games around. Of course the graphics are pretty outdated but you can fix that easily with some mods from the steam workshop. The battle atmosphere and the variety of units are still awesome and worth being taken a look at.

Singleplayer:
You can play the story of the Rebellion & of the Empire and a free game with the whole galaxy open to you.
Though the lore doesn't go too much in depth it's still fun and if you want more, there's also mods for that. ;)
The atmosphere of the Ground and Space Battles is very convincingly taking you straight into the fight and it's all about your tactical knowledge. On top of that you'll have to manage your planets.

Multiplayer:
The Game might be old but there are still quite a lot of people playing it online, so you can easily play matches with others or your friends!
There are all the possibilities offered you might wish for in a real STAR WARS Battle in the several online modes.

You can upgrade your planets and your space stations after your wish. All the special characters such as Darth Vader or Boba Fett have their own special abilities which makes the battle even more exciting and unpredictable! Use your units skills wisely and you might also win seemingly hopeless situations. There are a lot of mods you can download to maximize your gameplay content and to enjoy the Game even longer..


If you're just looking for a strategy game it might not be worth the full price for you, but if you like the space theme and STAR WARS this Game is a must have in your library.
