A 10+ year old cartoony shooter that still is irregularly updated multiple times a year. Has a surprisingly much depth in it and can be enjoyed both casual players and people who like getting good at video games.
Community is generally friendly even though the fact that -more toxic = more vocal- can make it seem otherwise. The game might be a bit discouraging at first since 100+ weapons that you think are upgrades(when most of them are really not) and playing against people with thousands of hours of experience who can seem unbeatable are a factor.
But if you can get over all that you'll be enjoying one of the best F2P games out there.
