The vast majority of Chinese people have flat heads, the vast majority of young people hate it. You might not notice it at first, but pay attention and you'll see how omnipresent it is for every generation bar the youngest

The two work together well because the flat headed tradition ties into the stupidity that the Chinese associate with farmers, as it's a really inane tradition that's only done for aesthetic reasons (think foot binding, for the head), tying the target to farmerdom even if he believes he's above it
