There were moments when the hit registration seemed off, you know? For example, I'd line up the perfect shot, only to have no damage registered. This can be annoying, especially in a game when every shot counts. Another issue that bothered me was the lack of variation in maps and game modes. Don't get me wrong, the maps are well-designed, but after a time, they can become a little repetitive. The game is rather buggy (especially in terms of texturing and visual settings), but if you want Quake 3 Arena remastered edition, this is it! (P.S. Quake 3 Arena is still number one). Overall, though, I have to say, I really enjoyed playing Quake Live. The adrenaline rush of a close match, the thrill of outmaneuvering your opponent—it's what keeps me coming back for more. So yeah, definitely a thumbs up from me.
