With both single-player and multiplayer modes, "Battlefield V," a first-person shooter set during World War II, was created by EA DICE and released by Electronic Arts in 2018. This game effectively held my attention because of how it depicted the war, despite being well-known for its realistic gameplay mechanics, expansive battles, and immersive graphics. Reminiscent of Pacific theatre encounters, the fine details in the weaponry and settings were especially striking. However, some aspects were not consistent with historical reality, extremely basic depictions of events and unrealistic equipment representations undermined the authenticity of the game. Thus, I was drawn to Battlefield 5 because of its interest in strategy tasks and war scripts. I also didn't want to watch phoney historical realistic scenes, so I know that Electronic Arts and EA DICE put a lot of effort into this game, but it didn't make me depressed about the lack of realistic war simulator mechanics and plans.
