Love this game. Would I pay 60$+? Probably not. The game is hard to grasp and you will NEED to watch YouTube videos to grasp the basics and to understand the do's and do nots.

For example, killing a chicken for food and cutting him up will get blood on your hands, if you eat the chicken with bloody hands you get a blood infection and get sick and die, you'll also get sick if you are freezing for too long or wet for too long and so on and so on.

But once you know how to manage these meters, DayZ becomes a fun game, everybody in this game has a mic I swear, the interactions make it worth it, this game is so satisfying getting kills in due to the game's hardcore nature. The game has a Steam Workshop where people host 100+ player servers with them using the custom DZSALauncher.

Overall if you like survival games that you can hardly make progress in (you need so many materials for a base and you will likely die before collecting all of them if you play on populated servers) this game is for you, you will die a lot but not without some solid funny interactions, recommend.
