My honestly review of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. (Note: Campaign only)

- Good Plot
The plot of this game is set around a stolen American Club-K missile that hide among the cargo container to strike anywhere in the world and it's depended on you to find and stop them. I won't spoiler the overall plot since I recommend you play by yourself. There will be some shock moment here.

- Highly insane detail
The Amsterdam mission have a lot of insane attention to detail on the map like structure, location and high amount of civilian that you have to careful while lead a shot to a cartel member who point a gun at you. Water detail are also great thanks to new engine that turn away the infamous fish ai to realistic water movement even they didn't upgrade the Fish AI in Cartel Protection.

- Fun and unique gameplay
The mission of this game were fun and unique to each mission especially "Violence and Timing" were you have to shoot a hundred of enemy convoy and you can steal a civilian car to chase the convoy, or "Borderline" where you play as Mexican Special Force try to hunt down the cartel who just crossing the border and you have to careful when go from house to house since some people will greeting to you with guns. I also like the mission "Alone" where you have to survive the attack by craft a weapon to fight the Shadow Company, even I have some negative about the mission which I will mentioned below.

I have a feeling, Fill Graves will be... very interested in digging to you.

- Downgrade Details
I find some detail have been downgrade when compared to old CoD game (even MW2019) like chicken just explode instead of knock back and die in painful when you shoot them (maybe a modern day problem). Another detail are magazine won't drop from the building when empty reload unlike one in MW2019. I don't know if they downgrade it just to save a 60 GB.

- Riot Shield
The strongest weapon in the game is the Riot Shield. I don't know why but this shield is made out of Captain America's shield material which allow you to survive enemy gunfight even on veteran and it's 3 hit kill to the armored enemy. The shield is unbreakable even in multiplayer except for drill charge and shoot in the back or rear.

- Phillip "Fill" Graves.
At first glance of see this guy, I like that guy as he was appearing to be a friendly guy who support Task Force 141 and Mexican Special Force when he speak on AC-130 that they are brother now. However, after you blew up an oil rig, he betray you and everything have gone wrong after mission "Alone". But I won't tell what a horrible thing he did in that mission.

- Crash, Crash everywhere! Freeze, Freeze everywhere!
I ran into a crash for 3 time and 2 of them are in the mission "Alone" were I at the middle room surrounded by Shadow Company try to hunt me down (and I play on veteran with knife only). I did make the game crash when try to open a door which is hilarious. Another crash is come from when I jump out of the windows after I ran into a checkpoint glitch that make character float in the air while prone and die. The game also freeze after die to the enemy which often happen to mission where you have a gunfight after rescue a Mexican Special Force team.

I never try to verify the game file for some reason.

- Update requires restart. The application needs to restart to launch Modern Warfare II CAMPAIGN. This process may take a few seconds to complete. Time out waiting for datacenters. Quit to Desktop?
I'm a single player guy. But for some reason, the game require me to have an Activision account and require internet to connect you to the multiplayer match even I just want to play a campaign. Sometime the game will just get an error message that your internet suck because someone is using Zoom call and you either retry or quit the game. Once you enter to the campaign menu, the game need you to restart again for some reason. Also, I can't play the game without all DLC install (maybe I'm wrong, but I just check only campaign and nothing else when install) which Hard Disk might get bombard by Warzone update soon.

- That weird shutter and glitch.
Although I play with WD SN770 which is second fastest SSD beside my SN850 (along with old Nvidia driver to avoid latest driver disaster). I found a weird shutter that cause entire texture to be disappear in short time, mostly in cutscene. As well as glitch I mentioned above where Soap just float in the air while prone like he is just stand still, this glitch only happen in "Alone" when you die and restart the checkpoint at prone status.

While the campaign is fun and unique, the crash and restart require make me feel pain when try to play a campaign because you need the internet to connect, and you can't just play the game with only campaign DLC. I not recommend to buy the game while at full price if you are only play just for campaign without touch multiplayer, bad nvidia driver or accidentally get permanently banned for no reason but verify a game file after your game is crash that anti-cheat is believe that you are manipulated the game data.
