CS:GO Review
Hello again, Iā€™m Rodney Reynolds and welcome to another video review. Today Iā€™m looking at the Thermaltake Armor LCS case. This full tower case is all aluminum which makes it extremely lightweight and itā€™s available in two colors black and silver. At the front there are two swing open panels. They are held into place by a magnetic force. The case has a total of eleven 5 Ā¼ external drive bays. However the top 5 Ā¼ inch drive bay has taken up a 3 Ā½ inch drive bay and the internal radiator occupies the bottom six 5 Ā¼ inch drive bays. The large radiator has 2 blue LED 120 millimeter fans attached to it. Hereā€™s the power button, reset button, power LED and hard drive activity LED. On the left side thereā€™s a very distinctive window design and a side panel has two latches. The top one can be locked for security. At the top there are lots of ventilation holes and a small door which opens to reveal one FireWire port, two USB ports, a microphone and headphone jack. At the back of the case at the very top is where a standard ATX power supply will get installed. This case is also BTX compatible using the optional BTX upgrade kit. They include an I/O shield plate, a 92 millimeter fan and a blue LED 120 millimeter fan. Here are the seven expansion slots and there are two oversize thumbscrews on the left side panel. This case fits micro-ATX, ATX, extended ATX and BTX form factor motherboards. Now remember you need the optional BTX upgrade kit if you were installing a BTX motherboard and since this is a full size tower case there is plenty of room to work on the inside bottom motherboard tray is not removable. There are plenty of internal 3 Ā½ inch drive bays for installing hard drives there are seven at the front and three more at the top. The top hard drive cage can also be very easily removed which is extremely convenient. This case has a tool less design for installing drives in the drive bays and cards in the expansion slots. It also comes with a mother board intrusion alarm switch which gets connected into a compatible motherboard. At the bottom there are four retractable feet. These fit spring out for stability. They also have rubber inserts which have excellent anti-vibration properties and wonā€™t scratch the surface. This case comes with a complete liquid cooling system which includes a userā€™s manual, all the materials needed for installation, a water block, a reservoir and the pump, two bottles of coolant, tubing and the large right here which is pre-installed inside the case. This CPU water block fits most current motherboards and includes all the hardware needed for installation. It has an acrylic top and two quick connect fittings as to all the components of these system. This makes it easy to securely connect and disconnect the tubes. It has a smooth solid copper base which will provide excellent contact between it and the CPU. It also has a small LED. The reservoir and pump are joined which is a very common configuration because it means less tubing and makes it easier to install. The reservoir has a single quick connect fitting and the cap at the top to fill the system with coolant. The small pump also has a single quick connect fitting and mounting slots for installing it inside the case at the bottom. This pump is extremely quiet. Have a listen. Finally, have a listen to the pump and fans. More and more companies are putting together this case water cooling combinations and it really make sense because with todayā€™s hardware getting faster and faster you really need to have a water cooling system to keep it nice and cool. Also if you want your computer system to be silent, water cooling is a perfect option. Now the case first of all is fantastic. It has lots of excellent features and the water cooling system performs very, very well. Overall this is a kick-ass product. Again my name is Rodney Reynolds. This has been another video review. Until the next time, take care.
