Fear and Hunger 2: Termina builds on what was created in Fear and Hunger, but without someone needing to play the first to enjoy the 2nd. What I love about this series is that it takes the concept of a JRPG and turns it upside down. A lot of the time the best option is to run away rather than fight something. What builds on that is the Rogue-Like aspect of play. Items in the game are important, but you never know what you'll get when you open a chest or a barrel. An entire run can change based on what you find first.

This is the ultimate choose your own adventure. The places you go and the people you meet could change how the rest of the game is played. People die before you find them. Monsters are created because you took the road less traveled. Its an ingenious way to create an RPG Maker game and I would highly recommend it to Puzzle loving survival horror fans and people who have enjoyed RPG Maker games in the past.

And I didn't even get into how crazy horrific and detailed the lore is! Obvious Dark Souls/Lovecraft influences!
