VVVVVV is a platformer in the style of old school 80's games. It's defining mechanic is that instead of jumping, the player flips upside down. The developer has done a great job utilizing this unique aspect of the game and it shows in it's outstanding level design. VVVVVV is definitely a tough game to beat however. You'll almost be certain to have hundreds if not thousands of deaths the first time you play. But the difficulty is authentic and almost never throws something unfair at the player, with enough practice the player can master these obstacles and eventually you'll see your death count go down in subsequent playthoughs. While not necessarily complex or lengthy, the story does it's job of building the world and plot enough were the player has a good idea of what's going on around them. The short but sweet story also helps make the game feel more true to it's retro aesthetic, as most games in this time period had little to no backstory as well. + their are certain blocks that you can BRAKE... YOU CAN BRAKE BLOKCS IN MINECRAFT!!!
+ there is very good musics even better than minecraft i think because it sounds like church music in minecraft

+ hard just like minecraft hardcord mode
+ Level editor (so you can kind of place blocks if you think about it)
+ takes place an an alternate dimension thing, just like the end in minecraft, which is an alternate dimenion

- game is not three d, idk whats up with all these games not being in 3D becausr 2d games SHOULD NOT EXIST
