I've let this game consume too much of my life. I am however glad it has. While it is a video game, it is also educational and makes the mind strain. This is no simple checkers but, is more like 6D chess that one can learn after a few hours of flailing around as good Ole Uncle Adolf. Only to turn into the German Empire and bring back the Kaiser and restore German hegemony in Europe while anime becomes Communist in Japan. This game is more of an experience rather than a game. You can watch history unfold in any way you want while doing whatever you want. Hearts of Iron IV may not be love or life, but it's something.
