Silent Hill 2 is a truly remarkable and quality remake maintaining the original Silent Hill 2 atmosphere and story. The Silent Hill 2 Remake looks graphically/visually outstanding and sounds even more horrifying than the original. A true psychological horror that is both griping and eerily nerve racking at every corner!

Boss battles are super intense and remain true to the original, meanwhile, being in the other-world feels dark and gritty, with a tense sense of evil that continues to pull James towards his search for Mary.

Overall, the Silent Hill 2 Remake is near perfection! However, optimisation could be a little better as stuttering occurs during cut scenes at times. This is relatively minor considering the level of quality and effort made to stay true to the original Silent Hill 2. Ultimately, the Silent Hill 2 Remake, has been nothing short of perfection, minus the optimisation and an excellent addition to an already classic horror series!

We finally got a great Silent Hill game again...

Praise the heavens! =D

In my restless dreams,
I see that town.

Silent Hill.

You promised me you'd take me there again someday.
But you never did.

Well, I'm alone there now...
In our 'special Place'...
Waiting for you...

~ Mary

The negative reviews for this game I feel are unjustified and don't accurately portray the games positive concepts. If you don't like a so-called "walking simulator", then why are you purchasing a 2.5D platformer?

For me, PLANET ALPHA was an absolute joy to play! It's a colourful and visually appealing alien world with some intriguing art style. A beautiful alien world filled with mystery and danger. Relentlessly pursued by robotic enemies, you must harness the power of day and night as you struggle to survive PLANET ALPHA's invasion.

PLANET ALPHA is affected by the solar cycle, and as you progress you’ll discover a unique gift – manipulating the time of day and night allowing you to use the environment to your own advantage.

A great 2.5D platformer with very little difficult and only a few mechanics used throughout. Nonetheless, each puzzle still manages to feel rewarding. PLANET ALPHA has great design of alien scenery, retro-futuristic machines, easy puzzles and a unique timeline allowing open story interpretation. There is great flow between stealth and chase sequences leading to some epic escape moments!

My only gripe with PLANET ALPHA was the enemy field of vision, it can become rather annoying at times leading to multiple deaths. It seemed like they had x-ray vision majority of the game. However, the death system is quick and starts you back exactly where you died. After learning enemy paths they become very easy to navigate. I also had one game crash towards the last 15-20 mins of my entire play-through, maybe that's something the developers could iron out.

PLANET ALPHA in my opinion is a very reasonable price at the lower end of £8 at full price. Meanwhile, being an outstanding price when on sale. It's defiantly one of the better under £10 games that I have played.

I thoroughly enjoyed the art-style PLANET ALPHA offers and the fluidity in the games play-ability and puzzles. I would defiantly recommend if you want something quick and easy to run through.

PLANET ALPHA was a decent 7.5/10 for me! :D

Halo: Spartan Strike and Spartan Assault on sale is an absolute steal!

Both Halo's are addictive shooters that retain enough of the look and elements of the Halo universe. The varied miniature missions fit the top-down play style perfectly.

These worked great on my steam deck, nice and easy to pick up and play instantly. I recommend if you want some nostalgic Halo :D

A unique adaptation of Stanisław Lem's 1964 novel. The Invincible.

Very much a walking simulator with undeniably gorgeous scenery and atmosphere. Despite this it has a solid philosophical take on humanity and our right to explore the cosmos, cleverly wrapped up into a suspenseful and intriguing adventure.

Thoroughly, enjoyed the story-telling, environment and different endings the Invincible offers. A great addition to the original novel.

Story telling and play through 8/10. Environment and atmosphere 10/10. I've never used photo mode so much in a game :D

Bright Memory: Infinite is very short game, which can be completed in around 3 hours. A total of 7 hours if you're going for full completion. Was looking for a fast paced FPS with great immersion and found this game.

Amazing graphics, DLSS support and no game crashes at all, playing at 140 FPS locked without any problems whatsoever. The ability to remove some HUD's also makes the experience a lot better and enjoyable to play.

Price again just like the demo is too steep for the amount of content you get. It should be around the £10 mark. Not much replay ability after finishing the game, except playing through revenge and hell mode which can become a little repetitive. But again these modes weren't really a challenge as their name suggests.

Overall, It's a fun fast paced shooter, with some great movement and visuals. A solid 7/10, I would give this :D

Great fun!

Although it's a one chapter demo. It should be free in my opinion.

Overall, an impressive one man project, but just buy the main game you'll be better off.

Traumatically realistic with endless PTSD inducing moments!

Steep learning curve if you go into this thinking you can run around and shoot like COD or Battlefield. Highly recommend using a mic, to get the true Hell Let Loose experience.

8/10 game should be cheaper though, full price I feel is pretty steep!

Also I need a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ medic and recon to take out that artillery!!!!

Gritty, dark, frantic and not for the faint-hearted. Aliens: Dark Descent is a great addition to the alien franchise bringing a new dimension to those pesky Xenomorphs. Highly difficult and challenging in all aspects nonetheless a thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Shout out to Syken Plays for these top tips below. Highly recommend checking out his videos they'll defiantly come in handy if you're going for full completion or want to understand the game mechanics better.
